What should I do if I have trouble making an online donation?

How will Careers HK handle the personal data I provide?

Under the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance, organisations take appropriate steps to protect personal data held by them against loss, unauthorised access, use or disclosure.
Is there a donation limit?

There is no donation limit, but we recommend a minimum donation of HK$100.
Who Are The Caregivers We Most Concerned?

In Hong Kong, working caregivers who care for family members aged 65 or above and have medical care needs or are chronically ill.
Does the name listed on the donation receipt need to be the same as the donor's name?

If the name on the receipt is different from the donor, please clearly mark the full name on the "Receipt Letterhead" on the donation form.
When will I receive a receipt for my donation?

Generally, within 14 working days after confirm received the donation.
Are donations tax-refundable?

Careers HK is a public charitable body exempt from tax under section 88 of the Inland Revenue Ordinance. For donations of HK$100 or more, an official receipt can be provided for donors to claim tax deduction.
What will happen to the funds raised?

The funds raised will be used to provide diversified services to the working caregivers in Hong Kong, see "Activities" for details.
